Appointed for life, we are governed by the Notaries Act and the rules of the Society of Notaries Public of British Columbia. BC Notaries are Commissioners of Oaths and are able to dispense legal advice on matters of real estate, contracts, and draft public instruments such as Wills and Powers of Attorney.
